Quality Technicians are responsible for attaining and maintaining standards of quality for bottles as defined by drawings, product specifications and Quality Assurance procedures. Assist in the training of new personnel on the importance of quality and leadership. Responsible for monitoring the quality of finished product and packaging at start up and qualifications, both before and after packing. The primary duties of a Quality Technician include: - Understands, follows and enforces all established safety, health, quality GMP and Company policies, procedures and recognized practices. - Communicate about quality with supervisors, managers, other shifts and departments verbally and through written documents according to plant practice. - Setup and maintain product files in the Infinity QS data collection system for input of variable/attribute data by QA, production and maintenance personnel. - Develop and analyze statistical data, control charts and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product. - Participate in continuous quality improvement projects and other related activities as assigned. - Create and implement inspection criteria and procedures. - Maintain Quality Inspection Procedures. - Complete written documentation and forms as required. - Coordinate and manage the held ware and rework processes. - Coordinate quality activity with other departments to achieve plant objectives in compliance with plant procedures. - Coordinate quality control training for employees engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials and products. - Play an active role on teams within organization. - Assist in customer complaints investigation and corrective action process. - Assure Operators and PMT Leads are following procedures to conduct tests and inspections. - Change over challenge test samples during product change overs. - Assist all plant personnel support of Infinity and quality reporting systems. - Conduct and participate on gage R&R studies. - Conduct process Audits and finished goods for every Machine and report any visual defect for correction and trace back Audits. - Complete product qualifications First Articles test as required after Mold/Color change, and assist with new product approvals (PQP’s) - Ability to analyze Statically Process Charts (SPC) and evaluate trends. - Retest bottles measurements from Production as needed (OOS or OOC) to verify quality conforms to standards. - Perform multiple inspection tests to ensure parts are produced to meet or exceed product specifications. - Identify and segregate (HFI) non conformity product according to established procedures. - Audit rejected materials/Customers returns and report findings. - Monitor Challenge test samples (Vision, ALPS, Metal detector) and QA Supplies and request replacements as needed. - Cover for Vacation as needed. - Maintain inventory of all caps and notify QA Manager when inventory is low. - Maintain work area and test samples in a clean and orderly fashion. - All other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager

Supplies production lines with efficient flow of materials – knockdowns and dividers - and moves finished goods to warehouse. Complete line driver reports accurately and legible showing locations and quantities of raw materials used as well as quantities and locations where finished goods were stored. Assist production line employees by relieving them in breaks and lunchtime periods. The primary duties of a Forklift Operator include: - Follow all established safety, health, quality GMP and Company policies, procedures and recognized practices. - Perform a safety lift truck inspection and battery check and report any equipment malfunctioning or damage to the Warehouse Manager or Shift Supervisor. Change lift truck batteries and add water when necessary; keep record of time batteries are changed. The primary duties of a Quality Technician Lead include: - Understands, follows and enforces all established safety, health, quality GMP and Company policies, procedures and recognized practices. - Communicate about quality with supervisors, managers, other shifts and departments verbally and through written documents according to plant practice. - Maintain quality reports, start-up and qualification related documents and forms. - Setup and maintain product files in the Infinity QS data collection system for input of variable/attribute data by QA, production and maintenance personnel. - Develop and analyze statistical data, control charts and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product. - Participate in continuous quality improvement projects and other related activities as assigned. - Formulate and maintain quality action plans to achieve quality assurance objectives. - Create and implement inspection criteria and procedures. - Maintain Quality Inspection Procedures. - Complete written documentation as required. - Coordinate and manage the heldware and rework processes. - Coordinate quality activity with other departments to achieve plant objectives in compliance with plant procedures. - Order, maintain, and repair quality testing equipment and gages. - Conduct and maintain scheduled calibrations of quality test equipment and gages. - Coordinate quality control training for employees engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials and products. - Perform all tasks and responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Technician and Lab Technicians as needed. - Play an active role on teams within organization. - In the absence of the Quality Manager, works with Production Manager to set up priorities for quality staff to maintain Quality in the products. - Assist in customer complaints investigation and corrective action process. - Assure Operators and PMT Leads are following procedures to conduct tests and inspections. - Change over challenge test samples during product change overs. - Assist all plant personnel with I.T. support of Infinity and quality reporting systems. - Maintain and conduct gage R&R system. - Limited travel may be required

Supplies production lines with efficient flow of materials – knockdowns and dividers - and moves finished goods to warehouse. Complete line driver reports accurately and legible showing locations and quantities of raw materials used as well as quantities and locations where finished goods were stored. Assist production line employees by relieving them in breaks and lunchtime periods. The primary duties of a Forklift Operator include: - Follow all established safety, health, quality GMP and Company policies, procedures and recognized practices. - Perform a safety lift truck inspection and battery check and report any equipment malfunctioning or damage to the Warehouse Manager or Shift Supervisor. Change lift truck batteries and add water when necessary; keep record of time batteries are changed. Fill out lift truck status report. - Participate in continuous quality improvement projects and other related activities as assigned. - Review daily production schedule with Shift Supervisor, brings materials to the production lines when needed to execute schedule and notify supervisor of any materials running low. Removes finished goods from production lines, back to assigned warehouse locations. - Provide accurate information of unloaded materials as well as materials used or produced to warehouse personnel. - Remove, store, and unitize production scrap bales and informs warehouse personnel when there is enough for a full load. Removes excess corrugated from mezzanine and empties baler as required. Takes full bales of cardboard scrap from baler to assigned location in the warehouse. - Maintain accurate records of materials being used and produced, and reports them in appropriate paperwork, back to warehouse personnel. - Remove finished goods and other materials in hold to assigned location. Stores finished goods stacked neatly and in proper height. Verifies that all finished goods removed from the production area must have a product code tag. - Participate in physical inventory taking. - Keep each production line supplied with the proper knock down cases, dividers, pallets and when each pallet is full take that pallet to the warehouse for loading on the trailer; and takes unused cases and dividers back to the warehouse to the proper location. - On limited production, may assist in stock-handler duties or load trailers as needed. - Bring up hot glue cases to the mezzanine, brings color concentrate to the lines, replaces cold glue tote, removes excess cases from production floor, brings slip sheets to production floor, loads storage racks with gaylords, set up rework, set up units of product on hold for Q.C., relieves stock handlers, loads and unloads corrugated trailers, identifies good corrugated from the bad and isolates it. - Follow established forklift procedures and complete required safety and maintenance checklists - Follow established procedures for damaged finished goods and raw materials and report them on line driver report. - Communicate with supervisor regarding shift totals and machine totals reports and with other lift truck operators regarding any changes or problems that arise, including damaged materials, damaged skids, or low inventories. - Complete written documentation as required. - Assist in relieving downstream teammates for breaks and lunches. - Use forklift to move pallets of finished product to stretch wrap machines to stretch wrap them and to staging area after wrapping, or to specify warehouse location. Completes finished goods report or worksheet. - Maintain supplies of corrugated and other packaging supplies at each machine. - Visually inspect all completed pallets of product for quality and conformity to the packaging instructions to ensure quality at the source. - Limited travel may be required.
