Function and Scope:

 

The Sr. Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for adding value to the Supply Chain, Logistics and Distribution Network. The Sr. Manager is responsible for oversight of all Supply Chain activities regarding operations and supports warehousing. The Sr. Manager will manage a team to measure and improve margin enhancement, capital efficiency, and profitable growth. This role encompasses: 1) developing synergies with partners in the market and supporting customers 2) management to a supply chain budget, financial metrics and financial reporting with a focus on continuous improvement, 3) planning/modeling, 4) project management assistance, via EWM and other projects 5) creation and deployment of standardized and synchronized KPIs, 6) regular executive communications and presentations.

 

Strong collaborative and communication skills are vital as well as proven people management skills.

 

Principal Responsibilities:

• Oversees supply chain and coordinates with warehouse operations and applicable systems
• Supports team members in resolving supply chain and warehousing issues as necessary
• Works with team to create appropriate monitoring reporting as well as corrective action plans to positively impact cost and service
• Aligns and manages current supply chain processes to ensure plant and customer needs are maintained
• Performs regular updates with executive team regarding key initiatives and issue resolution
• Maintains alignment with business unit leadership regarding new initiatives and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Supports business unit in pricing of services for new business opportunities

Manages projects and effectively communicates and interacts with all levels of the organization, including engineers, plant operations personnel, finance, and senior management

Qualifications – Mandatory

1.       B.S/B.A degree in supply chain, business or related field from a four-year accredited college or university

2.       At least 4 years logistics operations experience. Examples include practical experience in warehousing using best practices and KPIs

3.       At least 4 years of logistics team management experience.

4.       Strong Excel and analytical skills

5.       Project management experience

6.       Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal with all levels of the organization

 

Qualifications – Preferred

1.       Project Management or APICS certification

2.       Manufacturing operations experience

SAP experience is a plus, major ERP experience is a must

 

The expected salary range for the position described in this posting is made in accordance with the legal mandates of certain jurisdictions within the United States. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on individual qualifications and experience.
