Overview

The Procurement Specialist plays a key role in supporting the procurement function by managing the day-to-day operations of the procurement process. This position ensures the efficient execution of procurement activities, sourcing products and services, ensuring compliance with policies, and providing support to internal stakeholders. The Procurement Specialist will collaborate with nternal and external stakeholders to maintain smooth procurement workflows and aim to achieve optimum value delivery without compromising quality and/or safety.

Responsibilities

Sourcing & Procurement Operations

  • Support RFP and vendor evaluation processes to ensure fair, competitive sourcing and alignment with business needs.
  • Optimize procurement synergies across plants, in coordination with Global strategy and directives
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships to secure best terms, ensuring alignment with company standards for compliance, safety, and ethical conduct.
  • Where applicable, create and monitor POs and work with suppliers to confirm delivery schedules, ensuring timely receipt of goods and services.
  • Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to purchase orders, such as pricing or quantity variances.
  • Provide administrative and analytical support for real estate transactions and related documentation.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Support internal audits and documentation processes to ensure proper record-keeping for all procurement activities.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in procurement operations, including automation and system enhancements.
  • Assist in the onboarding of new suppliers, ensuring they are familiar with company procurement processes and requirements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all sourcing and site activities align with organizational requirements and the broader real estate strategy.
  • Communicate status updates, timelines, and potential risks to key stakeholders.
  • Assist in the coordination of internal reviews and approvals related to real estate commitments and vendor selections.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to resolve any discrepancies related to invoices, purchase orders, and payments.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with real estate brokers, consultants, and property managers.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure adherence to delivery schedules and quality standards.

Reporting and Analysis

  • Maintain real estate and lease databases to track portfolio performance and costs.
  • Assist in preparing dashboards and reports on key metrics.
  • Track vendor performance, pricing, and service quality to drive continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and support materials for leadership updates, reporting, and presentations.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance or a related field, or equivalent experience.

 

Experience: Minimum of 7 years experience in real estate sourcing, site selection, leasing coordination, or related administrative support

  • In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier performance metrics.
  • Familiarity with lease structures, real estate transactions, and market analysis.
  • Experience working with brokers, suppliers, and third-party consultants.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and systems; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba Guided Buying) is a plus.
  • Strategic mindset with a track record of achieving cost savings and operational efficiencies.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, organization, and project coordination skills

The standard compensation for this role is $80,900 - $121,030. Salary offers will be determined based on final candidate
qualifications, experience, skillset, and other relevant factors

Compensation Statement

The expected salary range for the position described in this posting is made in accordance with the legal mandates of certain jurisdictions within the United States. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on individual qualifications and experience.
