We currently have an opportunity for an experienced, team-oriented individual for the Electrician position in Bradford, Pennsylvania. This opening is for 1st shift working from 6:54 a.m. to 3.p.m. but may be required to work all shifts in the plant.
Primary Function -The primary function of the Electrician is to work closely with Production Department to improve our processes. Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, support equipment and utilities in order to keep machines operating efficiently. This includes machines and systems involved with Blow Molding.

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Two year Associate Degree in Industrial Electricity or related field is a plus. Minimum of five years industrial maintenance mechanic experience.
Language Skills: English verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routing reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills. PLC skills.
Mechanical Skills: Knowledge of welding, shop equipment (lathe, drill press, mill, cut-off saw, arbor press and hydraulic press), and hand tools. Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic equipment, pneumatic equipment, electrical and complex mechanical equipment. Ability to perform at least one of the following welding functions; helic-arc, arc, or gas welding.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Become certified as a lift truck operator and to maintain certification.
